Somali Police officer admitted killing one protester and wounding others after they used live bullets in Mogadishu.
The Somali opposition leaders called rally against government relating land grabbing and elections stalemate.
Security forces used excessive forces, including shooting protesters.
Mandi Omar, Benadir regional Police Commissioner accused those casualties to the MPs organised demonstrations.
He said that Police replied direct shooting from protesters side but witnesses said there were no shooting from protesters.
Opposition leaders blamed to the federal government that it intentionally killed peaceful protesters in Mogadishu.
Former president and current opposition leader Sharif Sheikh Ahmed condemned killings, torture and harassment committed by the police.
