The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Amb. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, received on Monday in his office at the Ministry in the capital Mogadishu, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Wang Yu, for discussions on advancing bilateral cooperation.
The meeting focused on strengthening the longstanding diplomatic relationship between the two countries, with talks covering political cooperation, infrastructure development, and collaboration in the education sector.
Somalia and China are set to commemorate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations in December, marking more than six decades of engagement between the two friendly countries.
