Foreign Minister H.E Abdisalam Abdi Ali Holds Telephone Conversation with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Ali, held a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, to discuss ongoing efforts to secure the release of the Pakistani nationals aboard the MT Honour 25.
Minister Abdisalam reaffirmed the Somali Government’s continued commitment to supporting efforts aimed at ensuring the safety and early release of the hostages.
Both ministers agreed to maintain close coordination until the matter is resolved.
The two sides also expressed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of Somalia-Pakistan relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation across areas of mutual interest.
