President Hassan directs Government Agencies to join drought prevention efforts in Somalia.
Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has called for unified efforts to aid the Somali people affected by the drought, as stated in a report from the Presidency.
The President directed a call to government officials, business people, humanitarian organizations, and international partners to collaborate on delivering urgent assistance to vulnerable people.
He made these remarks during a visit to the Emergency Relief Center of the National Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), where he inspected preparations for emergency aid for those impacted by the drought.
