Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency alongside its international partners conducted coordinated operations against terrorists in middle Jubba region.
The military operation destroyed the facilities of the political and administrative center, the explosives preparation center, the Al-Kata’ib propaganda offices, the militia training camp, and a building housing veteran trainers. During the operation, eight intelligence operatives belonging to the al-Shabaab were also killed there.
The Federal Government of Somalia and its partners increased operations against terrorists in recent months.
