The United States has placed 11 African countries under its highest travel warning, advising its citizens not to travel there due to serious security risks and limited consular support.
The African countries are Burkina Faso, Libya, the Central African Republic, Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, Niger, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan and Uganda.
They are among 23 countries worldwide under the US State Department’s Level 4 “Do Not Travel” advisory.
Trump administration recently announced he halts support to AUSSOM an UN-AU peacekeeping mission in Somalia.
He accused Somali leaders not taking or even willing to take the responsibility of their country.
