Security in Mogadishu tightened, as first elections in 50 years take place today in the Capital.
More than 10,000 police forces mobilised to secure election station as locals face lockdown.
National Independent elections Commission announced that more than 500k registered citizens took voting IDs to elect Mogadishu council.
The Commissioner said 55% of those registered have taken their voting IDs and will take part elections today
But opposition Organizations who rejected to take part those elections said that the number is deferent as they claim less than 20k took IDs.
Police suspended any movement today until polling stations closed at 6:00pm on Thursday.
