Mr. Zerihun Megersa, Consul General of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Dubai and Northern Emirates, presented his letters of Credence to H.H Sheikh Maktoum bin Bati al Maktoum, Director of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On the occasion, Mr. Zerihun conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of Prime Minister of Abiy Ahmed and Foreign Minister Gedion Timothewos to the President, the Government and the brotherly People of the United Arab Emirates.
During the handover ceremony, Mr. Zerihun Megersa reiterated his commitment to closely work with the authorities of Dubai and Northern Emirates to further strengthen the existing robust bilateral relationship between Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates.
He further expressed his readiness to put all the necessary efforts for the implementation of various bilateral agreements signed between the two countries, with particular focus on trade, investment, technology, and people-to-people ties.
After receiving the letter of Credence, H.H Sheikh Maktoum bin Bati al Maktoum wished the Consul General success in his tenure. He also expressed his willingness to provide the necessary support to the Consul General to successfully discharge his duties of strengthening the bilateral relations between United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia.
