The Ethiopian government specifically the technical weapons department of the Ministry of Defense has sold weapons to the Oromo administration to sustain the conflict in Moyale between the Somalis and the Oromos.
​Jawar Mohammed, an Oromo activist, accused the government of making this move, which the government frequently does, stating that it is a mistake that goes against the unity of Ethiopia.
For the last ten days intense fighting is going in Moyale town of the Somali state region between Oromo and Somalis.
The Oromia region is attempting to expand its geographical location and seize Somali state regions but border Somali tribes defended their land from the aggression of Oromo militias.
