Somalia’s upper house senators approved nine member Independent Human Rights Commission after today’s session.
28 members of the upper house endorsed, as house Speaker Abdi Hashi Abdullahi announced.
Six weeks ago they also got endorsement from lower house.
Family and Human Rights Ministery created this Commission two months ago .
They’re nine members mostly well known in Somali community.
