Suspected Al-Shabaab militants have launched attacks on the towns of Arabia and Fino in Lafey Constituency, Mandera County.
The attack began in Fino between 6pm and 7pm on Friday evening, with a similar assault reported in Arabia about an hour later.
Reports indicate the attackers are heavily armed and werw using new weapons.
