The Future Council has a special meeting this morning at the Airport Hotel in the Xalane area, where they will make a final decision on the talks they held with the government.
This meeting follows the split that occurred yesterday at the Presidency headquarters, after Council members met with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud but failed to agree on key issues.
Reports indicate the main sticking points are federal elections and those of the three regional administrations under the government’s control.
Sources say these disputes led to the talks ending in deadlock.
