The Dhobley District Police have apprehended a group of youths accused of being migrants who had traveled from Mogadishu.
They were attempting to cross into the neighboring country of Kenya, from where they intended to travel to Libya.
​The Dhobley District Police forces caught them at a checkpoint at the entrance of the city, after becoming suspicious of the youths, who lacked any local guarantors to enter the city.
​Following an investigation conducted by the police, it was discovered that they were indeed migrants attempting to cross through Dhobley.
​Furthermore, the police also seized the vehicles that transported them from Mogadishu as well as some of the human traffickers involved.
Recently three School Girls in Garissa went missing for several weeks, their families learnt that they are in Libya and Human traffickers held them asking ransom from their families.
