The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Abdulsalam Abdi Ali, on Saturday evening in the city of Jeddah met with His Excellency Dr. Farsin Agabkyan Shaheen, the Minister of Foreign and Expatriates in the sister state of Palestine, on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Cooperation, held to discuss the developments relating to the situation in the Federal Republic of Somalia.
During the meeting, the ministers addressed the issue of the illegal recognition by Israel of the so-called “Land of Somalia” in the northwest region of Somalia, and rejecting any measures that would undermine the federal unity of the Republic of Somalia and the security of its territories.
