Somali National Army SNA and Southwest Security Forces strongly repelled an attack launched by the terrorists militants at the Dambalka area, about 7 km from Baidoa town.
The forces confirmed they bombardment on the militants who carried out the attack, forcing them to retreat from the area.
Preliminary reports state that the army and security forces are now heading to Baidoa town to ensure the overall security of the town and its surroundings.
