Somalia’s outgoing president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has reacted EU’s visa restrictions on Somali passport holders.
PresidentHassanSheikhMohamud while he was speakingat the Somalia’s 66th independence day said that they have discussions with EU over citizens living illegally in EU.
on Thursday EU imposed visa ban for Somali passport holders over government’s neglecting to take back its citizens in EU.
“Everyone in Europe has identified themselves as Somali, and even some of our neighbors have claimed to be Somali. We are insisting that we need to verify them, and twe didn’t refused to return our people .” Said president Mohamud.
