Mogadishu hosts 45k Foreign refugees, NCR Chairman

Somalia’s Capital Mogadishu is hosting more then 45,000 refugees from Africa and Asia.

When Somalis dying at Seas seeking better life, others are seeking better life in Somalia.

“Mogadishu is currently hosting 45,500 foreign refugees, who have come from Yemen, Palestine, Ethiopia, Syria, Sudan, and Tanzania”. Said Chairman of the National Commission for Refugees and IDPs, Liban  Abdi Egal.

before Yemen and Syria crises, most Referees in Mogadishu were Ethiopian Oromo community, Zanzibar Community and small number of Palestinians.

Currently most Refugees are from Yemen,Syria,Sudan and Ethiopia.

Thousands of Somali Refugees are around the  World mostly Kenya’s Dadab and Kakuma Refugees Camps, Uganda and others.
