The Turkish Embassy in Mogadishu has bid farewell to members of Türkiye’s Police Special Operations Directorate, who have been involved in training and supporting Somalia’s Haramcad special police unit.
The Turkish officers contributed to strengthening the capabilities of the Somali Police Force through specialized training for Haramcad, a unit established to enhance the operational capacity and professional standards of the police.
The embassy said the team also provided significant support to its activities in Mogadishu, praising the officers for their dedication, courage and sacrifice during their mission in Somalia.
It wished the departing officers success in their future careers.
Somalia’s Special Police Unit Haramcad have advanced training on complex fighting, Special Operations, anti-riot trainings and so on from Türkiye security experts.
